Kia ora Jessie,
DeleteThank you for you comment.
I agree that the Lion King is really cool.
It toke us over a term to practices and perform the Lion King.
The whole year 5,6,7 and 8 students along with their teachers help to prepare and produce the Lion King.

Kia Ora Caitlin!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Lucas from Parkview School. I'm quite impressed with your blog post, You put a lot of detail into the costumes. And by the the pictures of action, You did well with the acting, but the quality of the pictures isn't the best. Never the less, It's amazing! I hope to hear back from you.
Kia Ora Lucas.
DeleteThanks for the comment. The quality of the photographs were difficult because the actors were moving around a lot and when they were put through the video maker they became a little more blurry.
Anyway, thank you very much for your comment.
From Caitlin.

ReplyDeleteIm Anya and I am a year 8 student of Parkview School.
Those pictures looked great, I loved the costumes.
Did you make the costumes? How long did it take you to practice and make the props?
Once again great job

Kia Ora Anya,
DeleteI'm Caitlin one of the Year 8 Leaders at Marshland School.
Thank you for your comment. We did not make all the costumes we borrowed them from another school that produced the Lion King. But we did make our own Zazu costume. It toke us over one term to practice the performance. We did make a couple of the props and they were made in the spare time we had when we weren't practicing.
Thank you very much.
